Building the Next Generation of Sports in OKC

Nearly 20 years after their arrival in Oklahoma City, the Thunder are getting a new home. This spring, demolition began on Prairie Surf Studios (formerly the Cox Convention Center) to make way for a new, state-of-the-art arena to house this iconic team. But the Thunder aren’t the only team getting a new home; OKC is building a multipurpose stadium designed to host the USLC OKC Energy FC team. The surrounding stadium district will become a new live-work-play destination with creative direction from none other than Russell Westbrook.
